Financial Services employment almost doubled in Ireland South East since 2017

Employment figures in the area of financial services have risen consistently since 2017 according to the CSO. In Q2 2017, 5,600 people were employed in the sector, in Q2 2019, 6,500 were employed in the sector, and in Q2 2021, 11,400 were employed in the sector within Carlow, Kilkenny, Tipperary, Waterford, and Wexford. This is due to fantastic innovative companies in the region, from startups to multinationals.
