WHAT YOU WILL DO?
As Financial Account Manager (FAM), you are part of an assigned client team and work closely with the Managing Director’s, in house Company Secretary, Senior Financial and Legal Account Manager(s) to continuously exceed our client’s expectations. The FAM will handle all accounting services for Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) involved in structured finance or capital markets transactions such as repackings transactions, MTN programmes, RMBS, ABS, aviation and CLO transactions. The FAM is expected to continuously develop personally and professionally, delivering added value to all disciplines within Trustmoore and contributing to the further growth of our office.
Main responsibilities are:
- Monitor and review the administrative and accounting functions of assigned SPVs;
- Supervise the set-up and maintenance of SPV administrations and financial databases;
- Prepare (consolidated) financial statements, annual reports and other SPV related financial reports;
- Preparation of quarterly management accounts for SPVs;
- Generate and administer accounting procedures and ensure that all procedures are carried out following relevant legislation and policies;
- Identify problems or unexpected events arising during work and resolve them;
- Monitor and review accounting and related reports for accuracy and completeness;
- File the statutory reports to the CRO with the assistance of the Legal Account Manager(s) and our Company Secretary team;
- Prepare audit tails and support the audit process;
- Prepare VAT and CIT returns and handle tax assessments;
- Maintain contact with asset/investment managers, trustees, collateral administrators, banks and other involved stakeholders to obtain the required information for reporting purposes, meeting deadlines and meeting the client’s needs;
- Liaise with external parties such as tax advisors, auditors and authorities;
- Manage own portfolio in respect of planning, meeting deadlines and quality of work;
- Keep updated about changes in local (relevant) legislation and accounting guidelines and
- Perform other finance and administrative tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements.
HOW DO YOU FIT IN THE TEAM?
As a Financial Account Manager, you will manage ad-hoc activities, intensive client contacts and daily work. In this position, you need to prioritize what is important, have a hands-on and independent work mentality and be able to deal with stress. You will need a helicopter view since you are responsible for your client’s financial processes and reporting deadlines. You are proactive, know what you are capable of, and possess good communication and leadership skills.
Other relevant qualifications for this profile:
- A minimum of bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration or a comparable level achieved through exposure and experience (ACCA qualification is a pré);
- Residing in Ireland;
- A minimum of three years of relevant work experience;
- Experience with Aviation transactions is a strong advantage;
- Excellent Word and Excel skills;
- Fluent in English (verbal and written);
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as a part of a team; and
- Strong sense of responsibility.
