Immedis are currently hiring a remote PRODUCT MANAGER and PRODUCT LEAD:

As Product Manager, you will be responsible for the overall development, positioning, and messaging / communication of the global payroll software/technical solution. You will take the lead role in the strategic definition of key modular aspects of the Immedis iConnect platform, its design, and implementation through our outstanding development/engineering team.

You will be responsible for the following key areas of the product lifecycle:

  • Strategy
  • Ideation
  • Features
  • Release management You will be a key driver in the integration of the Immedis platform with third-party systems and services such as HR / HCM, Time Management, and Financial Management systems.

You will work closely with customers to develop an in-depth understanding of their global payroll challenges and drive the direction of our strategic product roadmap based on this. You will have one foot in the business world and the other in the technical world – working with our development /engineering teams to deliver our roadmap whilst also working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Service Delivery through the ideation process.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years in a software product technical and or management role.
  • Drive the prioritisation of technology enhancements through our roadmap; manage the performance of new product enhancements in market, constantly seeking customer feedback and suggesting improvements.
  • Define clear operational direction for the Immedis Product Team.
  • Lead functional and/or technical design, specification and development activities across the Immedis iConnect Product Team, including all aspects of the global payroll life-cycle from Human Capital Management (HCM) systems integration, through payroll processing and into global payment/treasury and Financial Management Systems (FMS) integration.
  • Strong functional accounting knowledge and the ability to understand complex topics such as general ledger integration, HR data feeds and their impact on payroll processing, banking transactional payments for payroll execution are all highly advantageous.
  • Be the key link between the business world and the technical, making “the very complex incredibly simple”.
  • Be the business leader in product innovation initiatives.
  • Data analytics & business intelligence strategy and technical execution to support the product.
  • Assist in the creation of thought-leadership and enablement content (e.g., blogs, playbooks, battlecards, sales scripts, presentations, training modules and demos).
  • Manage launch planning and orchestrate execution of the technical solutions across multiple clients.

As the product expert, you will have your finger on the pulse of new and emerging technologies, products and companies through active engagement with our prospects and clients, as well as with the wider payroll industry.

Requirements

What Are The Must Have Skills:

  • Lead functional and/or technical design, specification and development activities across the Immedis iConnect Product Team, including all aspects of the global payroll life-cycle from Human Capital Management (HCM) systems integration, through payroll processing and into global payment/treasury and Financial Management Systems (FMS) integration.
  • Be the key link between the business world and the technical, making “the very complex incredibly simple”.
  • Analytical skills in reviewing technical specifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Ability to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and draw conclusions
  • Ability to create systematic and consistent requirement specifications
  • Writing business specifications based on technical requirements
  • Leading Product Solutions End to End and Embedding these in the Business Process of the users

What Are The Advantageous Skills:

  • Experience in working with xml bank files and xml tools
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases and APIs
  • University degree in a relevant or related field
  • Background on large-scale projects involving multiple applications
